DE Bug harnesses the natural power of diatomaceous earth (DE) — a mineral formed over millions of years from microscopic fossilised algae mined from our own deposit in Far North Queensland, Australia.
DE works by mechanical action, not chemical toxicity. Its microscopic sharp edges penetrate the waxy exoskeleton of insects, causing them to dehydrate and perish. Because it works mechanically, insects cannot develop resistance — unlike chemical pesticides.

Part the fur and lightly dust along the back, neck, belly, and base of tail — avoid eyes, nose, and mouth.
Work the powder gently into the coat with your fingers.
Leave for 24–48 hours, then brush out and bathe if desired.
Treat pet bedding at the same time — lightly dust, leave 24 hours, then vacuum.
Repeat weekly during flea season.
Amount: Approximately 1–2 teaspoons per medium-sized dog.
Sprinkle a thin layer along skirting boards, carpet edges, under furniture, and in cracks.
For carpets, work into fibres with a brush.
Leave undisturbed for 24–72 hours.
Vacuum thoroughly.
Repeat every 1–2 weeks.
Amount: Approximately 100g per average-sized room.
Apply to soil surface around plants and along garden bed edges.
Dust lightly onto foliage where pest damage is visible.
Reapply after rain — DE reactivates when dry.
Apply in early morning or evening to avoid harming bees.
Amount: Approximately 200–300g per square metre.
Remove birds or animals first.
Dust generously into litter, nesting boxes, perches, and crevices.
Apply lightly to birds' feathers around vent, neck, and under wings.
Reapply weekly during mite infestations, monthly for prevention.
Amount: Approximately 500g per average coop.
